Re: A15Mk1 with built in chorus

Torus, don't worry for this.. The early CE2 was supplied by a "Boss ACA" adaptor , that is a unregulated 12V supply, so there is no problem! However, I can install a 7809 voltage regulator transistor for a 9V regulated supply.. 8)
Is a really good think to place a built in effect like a chorus or a delay...is'nt true?

Re: A15Mk1 with built in chorus

I will install another transformer to supply a 12V for the relais (Footswich channel 1/channel 2, boost switch and the chorus on/off switch)
The transformer that I've choose is little, but is enough for supply this things.
I can supply my chorus circuit with 12V too, because the caps are rated for 16V minimum, and I add more headroom to the effect too...
But.. where can I place the chorus? after or before the send/return?

Hi! I have a copy of Boss CE2 chorus (only with Depth and Rate controls) circuit and I will including on a A15 circuit, but I don't know where it can be placed..
I have to install this circuit after the Master Volume and before the send effect jack, or after this and before the phase inverter?
    Thanks...

    Re: more power for J5

    Hi.
I've read something about this self-split wiring.
To achieve this on my J5 I have to connect the pin9 of both EL84 to OT, then the CT to the power supply (310v).
The pin 2 of one EL84 to the signal and the pin2 of other tube to the ground. Then both the cathode in series with a resistor, to ground.
    Now:
    1) will change the primary impedence of OT?
    2) which value I have to give to EL84 cathode resistor?
    Thanks

Hello! I've a problem with identification on primary/secondary of my output transformer (Hammond125E).

    1) The primary from the OT are blu, red and brown. Which of this must be connected to V3 and C4?

    2) And then the tap 6 from the secondary to the signal of the output plug? And the tap 2 from the secondary to the star ground? It's right?
