SOLVED IT!

Turns out, the ground cable from the switch, though tinned, got frayed when I inserted it in the PCB and touched the signal cable. Boy, are these cables finicky!!

I measured voltage to the four transistors, and here's what I found:

Hi!

I built this pedal following all the instructions, and when bypassed, the signal is fine, but when I turn it on, I get nothing but white noise! Funnily enough, that white noise changes in tone, intensity and volume when using the knobs. Any ideas what could be causing this?
