The combo is completed and the amplifier is installed. I'm very pleased with sound.

Hi. I used saw, drill, glue, screws, something to measure with, some filler and sandpaper and some patience.
I've cheated with the corner, I just glued and screewed the together. The cabinett is covered with tolex. Do some googling and you will find information about cabinett and tolex.
I mounted a 12" Jensen speaker. The G3 have a smaller chassis, so you may choose 8" or 10 " speaker if want make a smaller cabinett.
The J5mk1 chassis is not predrilled, so I could choose to make holes for a top or combo. I've choosed combo and the chassis is mounted upside down, with the tubes down. I mounted some pieces of wood to support the chassis and use 4 screws from top.I will mount the chassis into the cabinett this weekend. So I can post some pictures how the chassis is installed.
Good luck with your project.

Hi. I suppose the design is for a combo cabinet (speaker and amplifier in the same cabinet). The G3 is hanging in the top of the cabinet. I'm building a J5mk1 in a combo cabinet that I've made of plywood and pinewood.

Hi, I have also a question about the OT for J5mk1.
At page 5 in the manual Modification rev. 2.4a, it says that pin 7 of V3 should be connected to lug 13. But on the picture it seems to be connected to lug 12.
Is the picture right or the text?Best regards
