Ok, thanks for your answer.
Can I use a pen made of wood as an insulated stick?
Why is the puckup problem only on the G2 and not on the other amps I've got?

Hi,
I just finished my G2 amp. Using a Celestion tube speaker.
I got some problems. Its fine on smooth setting as long I dont go on highest volume. On fat and normal I get this Hi frequency noise. And spacry/scratchy sound.
I get the noise if I use a single mic on the guitar aswell, but if I switch over so the guitar uses 2 mics(bridge and middle for example) it disappears.
I got two videos where im trying to describe the problem. Whatch them please.

Please help me
Lol @ me. Didnt noticed that it was DC.
Thanks.
Zitat von eBernd;294733Hi,
did you switch your meter to DC (as it should be) when measuring this?
BTW: MY manual says that one should measure 240 V DC between (any) red wire from transformer to ground and NOT 265 V as you noticed.
Bernd
Also changed the R12 to a new one. Nothing changed.
Edit: The input voltage from the power cord is ok.
Help please (a)
Zitat von hermelinen;294663Hi,
Im building a Madamp G2. Stucked.I've reached to step 2.5 when you shall wire the power supply board.
All cables wired as shown in the layout pdf and as the text sais. After that the manual sais to check the voltage. Power trans red-red is OK and the blue-blue is also OK. But Im getting 416 V on output transformer red-ground not the 265. I have resolded the connections for the red cables and checked the resistors. Any guess whats wrong?
Thanks
