Re: No sound (a15mk1)
Hi,
have you measured/checked all the voltages wich are notified in the circuit diagram?
Any aberrations?
Is there a slight hum or noise to hear from the speaker?

Re: No sound (a15mk1)
Hi,
Do you use a seperate speaker? When I first tested the kit I connected a 6" 16 ohm 60 watt speaker. This speaker was not enclosed just a loose speaker. I had to dail the volume up tot the max to hear any sound. It is a completly different story when you connect it to a cabinet.
Good luck
Re: No sound (a15mk1)
Hi,
I used my 2x12" celestion speaker cabinet, but there ain´t no sound.. or even that slight hum or noise. It´s dead silence
..My friend who is a expert on electricity is coming tonight to see if we could solve the problem..
I have tried to measure all the voltages, but im so noob that i can´t trust on them.. Im pretty shure that i have done some silly aberration, which i can´t find myself.
If somebody figures out something that could help me please tell me.. ![]()
thanks for all of the replys!
Re: No sound (a15mk1)
Check the ground of power tubes.. I've had a similar problem on my first A15.. after looking i've found a broken ground wire on the power tubes
Re: No sound (a15mk1)
I had forgot to solder one ground wire, and that´s why there was no sound!
problem solved.. ![]()
..My clean channel doesn´t work though
There is probably some aberration or wrong thing in a wrong place..
I´ll check it tomorrow..
2nd channel works perfectly! ..nice sound ;D
