About a capacitor...

    Hi to all.. I've got from Klaus the instructions of both the A15Mk1 and M15Mk1. But I don't know what kind of cap is the "MTKX" C32 on A15Mk1 plan. This is the same capacitor of C20 in M15Mk1 plan.
    Can I install a normal MKT or MKP cap with the same value instead of this MKTX? This think will change the voltage of the power supply?

    Hi Luciano,
    this capacitor is special, as it is specified for 250V AC (!) So for replacing it you need a capacitor of the same specification, normal MKP or MKT are specified for 250V DC (!)

    Hi Martin.. Can I use a polypropilene or a polyester cap with the same value at 400 VDC? I have some problems to search a cap VAC... Klaus don't have in the stock!

    No, you need an AC Type. But this type is used in power filters, Switched power supplies etc. so you should get it in electronic parts supplies. If not, just mail Klaus, he can sell you all parts used in the kits.
