A Mk 1 treblepot increases volume on channel 1. Got wrong cap between treble and basspots (47nF) and now turning treble up increases volume. To be expected with wrong cap? As far as I can see everything is connected the right way. Both channels work fine, I like this Brownface sound

you're right, with the bigger cap the treble control also changes the mids, and this means it changes the volume level
