mad amp in amptop help

    YES ;D I have finished building my A15 madamp. I was reading in the German forum that you need to cover the bottom of the amp. I am building a top box for the amp with plywood, do I need to cover the bottom of the amp before I put it in the box ?

    the cover needed is for shielding purposes, so aluminum foil from the kitchen should work. you should ensure that this foil is grounded. just glue it onto the wood or use double sided adhesive tape. this is easier when the amp is not yet mounted to the box ;D ;D.

    if your amp has no problems with "radio china international" when not shielded all around, then you do not need it. otherwise it could help to keep the chinese radio station off your amp.

    Well like I said before A15 madamp is done ;D ! The sound is awsome !! I did only one mod ; lineout. Thanks to Rockopa58 (Peter) with his Anschalteinheit !! The rest will come later. The cabinet is the next step. If I have time it's off to the hardware store to get some wood, glue and a few nails. I am not sure how I am going to cover the cabinet but I will think of something. The front will be the race grill that I got from Lidl in silver. The back grill will be black. I had some knobs leftover from a other project for the trimmer but there are till I get some in chrome.

    I had posted in the speaker forum that I had bought the HB 2x12 box. Sound was what I was looking for. Just right for ME!!

    Today I had some time to work on the amp cabinet. maybe I will do some thing on Sunday (most likely not) Have a nice weekend !!
