L-pad attenuator question

If I wanted to build a simple attenuator like Bridged-T or
L-pad (http://amps.zugster.net/articles/attenuation), how should
I round the numbers (R1/R2) when buying the resistors
like:

db Z R1 R2
-9 4 2.20 7.27

2.2 ohm -> 2ohm and 7.27 ohm -> 7 ohm etc?

Just round to the nearest available value. The values are not that critical, unless you need the reduction to be exactly -9.0dB.

You could also use two resistors in series or paralell, of course.
