2-Band-Classic-Bass-Preamp wire colors

Hi there,

I'm building the Classic Bass preamp but I have a question.

You can see here red brown and black wires to the vol and treble pot.

The PCB says 1 for the top wire of both.


But on my connector the kit came with the 1 is black (brown,red wire). And in the drawing it says red brown black.
Shall I just ignore colors and match the 1 on the pcb and the connector?
