Question about the DOD250G...

Heyo! Building my second kit and it's the DOD250G!

So far things are going smooth but one of the capacitor says it's "optional" on the pcb, yet I can't find any documentation on what this "option" does. What will it do to the sound of the pedal if I leave this out or install the 2,2nF MKT?

Hi,
I think it will reduce treble.
If you let the wires of this component as long as possible and solder it with a lot of space to the pcb, you can try it out and cut on one side and resolder the wires later easily.
