A15Mk1 with Hammond 125ESE

    Hi..
    I'm collecting information about the A15Mk1 (slowly assembled (2 of them) on my almost none free time.. more some weeks and I finish them.. ::) )
    I read somewhere that an exchange for the OT Hammond 125ESE improve the sound of the A15Mk1 (by Mr. Olaf himself).. my question is.. how? what are the differencies? can I make the 4/8Ohms wiring the same way that I make with the Hammond 125SE? thanks for the awnsers..

    Hi,
    the 125E (included in the A15Mk1 kit) is a push-pull OT, the 125ESE is single ended, so they are NOT interchangeable !!! I assume, you've read about using the 125ESE for the J5Mk1, which has a single ended power stage ;)

    Hmmm - I'd be interested to know too - does this improve the driven sound the clean sound or both (the guitarist in my band has a 1970's Peavey Deuce and he's got a beautiful clean tone with it just a couple of effects to go with it for colouring and he has classic rock tone!! And I'm trying to match that)?
