A15Mk1 questions

Hi everyone. I would like to know if (and how) the A15Mk1 could be modified with a triode-pentode switch and a footswitch for the channels. I would also know what mesa boogie model was taken as a base for the distorted channel and how many gain stages the lead channel has.

Hi,
the circuit for the footswitch for channel switching and the boost switch (++) is under construction, the schematic will be posted in the A15Mk1 FAQ. The second channel is derived from Soldano SLO and R'tifier but it's not a clone of any of these. With the boost switch turned on, the 2nd channel has four gain stages, w/o there are three.

Thanks MAD for your answer...does the A15Mk1 have the same amount of gain as a R'fier? If I remember good the SLO has five or six gain stages (and two cathode followers) but how many gain stages has a R'fier?
Is there a way to use the two output tubes in triode mode?

Gain: Approximately YES, although the R'tifier ans SLO have indeed more gain stages. You can add a triode/pentode switch, but it's not included in the kit.

Wich were the settings you used to record the samples I can find on the website? I would like to hear the max distortion.
