Help with wiring footswitch board into A15Mk2

    Hi all,

    I've almost completed an A15Mk2 build and all's gone really well. :)

    However, I'm a bit confused regarding wiring the power supply board for the FS1 footswitch. If I understand correctly, the instructions say to lift the red and green wires connected to lugs 11-12 (13-15 on my transformer) from the power supply board on the amplifier and connect them to CN1 on the footswitch power board. Then run a red wire from CN1 back to the power supply board on the amp.

    My question is, what happens regarding the connection on the amps power supply board where the green wire was originally connected?

    Hi Grahame,
    welcome to the board!
    You don't need the green connection any more, because the bias circuit is grounded and the power supply for the foot switch is grounded too. So you only need one new connection from the FS power supply to the bias circuit, because the ground is already connected ;)
