hi everybody, and thanks for the help you will provide me.
my problem is "simple": i have mounted the footswitch and the amp don't work anymore.
i have the 12v on the plug socket board, the bias is correct on 35mv.
the leds are ok and they work along with the leds on the double footswitch (buyed on musikding and modified as requested by schematics).
when i turn on the amp i hear big hum on both channels, the clean don't work, the drive work at very low volume while producing the constant hum.
maybe i have done somebody wrong with the switch board channel?
how can i test this board? with the tester it seem that don't do the commutation between wires A/B - B/C and D/E - E/F ... sorry for the bad bad english..!

Nobody has an idea on what should I check? Nobody as a layout (or a clear photo) of the footswitch mod? The amp don't work anymore and I need it as soon as possible...

Is this the right schematic?

maybe the relay is wrong connectet.
Can you make a photo of your switch board, so we can see if there is a fault. -
No, I've used the schematic come with the purchase of the footswitch mod at musikding... I will check with the schematic you segnaled to me, thanks, I'll let you know.
Stefano.

Hi Stefano,
sounds like the power supply is correctly assembled and connected (12V OK, all LED OK), can you hear if the relays switch (you should be able to hear a "click" when you're near to the board(s). Please also post some good quality pictures of your assembly to enable us to help you.
Regards,
Martin -
Interesting! I'll try this soon. If I don't find the fault I will post some photos...
A question:
It's normal that with the channels relay off (amp turn off) I see continuity between ground and all 3 wires connected to is side (the side where I have the central wire connected to ground, right white wire to V3 and left white wire to central lug of Volume pot VR3) ?? -
I don't find the fault, I really need some help... I've done some photos, I hope you can see something. If they are not enough good please ask...

Stefano,
what about my question? Can you hear the Relays switching when pushing the button?
Regards,
Martin -
I'm not sure about that, sorry, the mechanical noise of the switch can cover the noise of the relay... so I'm not sure I hear the relay switching.
Maybe I can pull out the relays, apply 12v dc and test if they do the commutation? What do you think?
-
Stefano,
it makes more sense to test them it in the circuit. When you manually switch useing the push button at the front panel you should hear the relais switching. You can switch with the push button w/o latching (just moving the catch up a bit) so you won't hear any mechanical "klick" only the relais' switching.

Martin
