Change the amps layout (M15MK1)

Hi, I bought a combo chassis for my Madamap M15MK1 but I have trouble installing the speaker because the tubes come too forward and there is not enough room for the speaker. I could get more room by moving the tubes away from the center of the chassis (new holes etc.).
Would that be ok from the amps design point of view?

Hi,

a wrong cabinet (or did you really mean "chassis"?) as a cause of problems can't be corrected by other means...

If the tubes (after moving to another position on the chassis) are still in the way of the "backward beam" of the speaker there might be a feedback via soundwaves from the speaker to the power tubes (what means "squealing")...

On the other hand changing the position of components always means a new way of wiring - and that is your adventure (avoiding hum and unwanted feedback).
